The Village of Bigfork

Bigfork is a small mountain village resort area located in the midst of the fabulous Flathead Valley. It is situated on the Northeast corner of Flathead Lake and surrounded by mountains on all sides. One of the major attractions in the Bigfork area is the water. The large blue lake is dotted with colorful, gliding sailboats, gracious tour boats and charter fishing tours. Among the oldest and most delicious treats for visitors to the Bigfork Area are the marvelous cherries which are grown along the shores of Flathead Lake. The Flathead's famous sweet cherries are a tasty bonus for locals and visitors alike, a product made possible by the unusually mild weather which prevails along the shores of the lake.
