Can't make any of the auditions but still interested in being a part
of our company?........send us a DVD or VHS of your audition, along with
a resume and contact information by February 25.
On your video we would
like to see two (2) contrasting monologues - 60 second or less, two (2)
contrasting songs - 60 seconds or less, and two (2) short dance routines
- one jazz, ballet or musical theatre and one tap.
(video audition should
not be longer than 6 minutes - live auditions are usually only 90
seconds - please contact individual auditions for time limits and
specifics)
In 1964, Brown hired Don Thomson who is now, along with wife Jude
Thomson, the producer. In the early days of the Bigfork Summer
Playhouse, the company ate group meals, rehearsed and lived in the same
place. There were no facilities to build scenery, as a matter of
fact, the building didn't even belong to the Bigfork Summer Playhouse,
it was a Community Hall owned by the Masons and the Eastern Star.
The summer group would rent the facility and bring in the stage, risers
and audience seats.
The
Bigfork Summer Playhouse will be celebrating it's 48th season of
the finest live professional repertory theatre in the
Northwest. BSP now has wonderful living facilities for the
company members,
