The jungle is jumpin’ with jazz is this exciting Disney classic! Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang as they swing their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan. Specially adapted from the beloved film, this musical includes all your favorite Disney tunes, like “The Bare Necessities,” and “I Wan’na Be Like You.” With colorful characters and that toe-tapping jungle rhythm, The Jungle Book is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for audiences of all ages.

Musical adaptation by Vera Morris and Bill Francoeur! Those rats are taking over Hamelin, and nobody, including the greedy mayor, knows what to do. Even Duchess Dingaling is at her wit's end. Rattytatty, the pest control officer, admits defeat. Just when things can't get any worse, who should turn up but an odd young gentleman who calls himself the Pied Piper? The town agrees to pay a fee for the Pied Piper to get rid of the pests, so he disposes of the cheese nibblers, as promised. However, the townsfolk now claim they are too poor to pay! In retaliation, the Pied Piper leads the children from the town and hides them within a magic mountain. The townsfolk quickly realize the error of their ways and search for the mysterious musician. The slap-happy characters range from Old Widow Whiskers, the wise rat who's too slow to follow the Piper, to a silly Dancing Tutor, who creates a new dance called "Doing the Rat."

Synopsis

Cast List

SYNOPSIS:  Gangway, Pirates of the Caribbean, here come The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree! When his crew jumps ship upon sighting the pirates in the distance, Captain Jennings is left with a makeshift crew of motley prisoners and Fergus, a sailor who can't swim, to protect his wealthy passengers, the Prescots, from the inevitable attack. As the lady pirates take over the defenseless Kayla May, you're in for swashbuckling musical comedy with a host of hysterical characters on deck. Along with Captain Bree' hearty crew of mean and nasty mates (and a couple of new recruits in training who keep forgetting to be rough and tough), you'll find the haughty Professor Bidwell and the pretentious Madam Prescot, constantly battling for special treatment and respect (ha!) from the pirates; Samuel Prescot, masquerading as a girl to avoid becoming shark bait; and Julia Prescot, bursting with desire to join the lady pirates much to her aunt' dismay! After the pirates send Thomas, the cabin boy, out to sea with a ransom note demanding gold from the British in exchange for the Prescots' lives, they amuse themselves by auctioning off the male prisoners to do their dirty work and showing Julia the ropes of pirating. But what is in store when Thomas returns with a British fleet, set on hanging the pirates for their deeds? Madam Prescot and Bidwell are equally set on seeing Captain Jennings hang for his defenseless approach to the lady pirates. Get ready for the swashbuckling ending as the two captains work together to save their crews from the British.  From the suspense of "The Plank" when Professor Bidwell' life is in the pirates' hands to the belly laughs of "Shipshape and Bristol Fashion" when the pirates order the grumbling prisoners to swab the decks, you will be humming the catchy sea shanties, including "Welcome Aboard!" and "They're a Nasty Lot."

When in Rome...

Book by Martin A. Follose
Music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur

SYNOPSIS:When in Rome, do as the Romans do slip on a toga and charge like a lion into this dazzling musical! "Left the checkbook in the chariot, your Caesar Card at home? Don't worry, we've got lay-away!"  Peasant thieves Gladis, Minimus and Julia sneak into the royal palace disguised as handmaidens. Gladis is smitten with the beautiful princess and simply must catch another glimpse of her. They are promptly caught in a hilarious scene, almost becoming lion food until the princess gets an idea. She must marry soon, but almost all the senators and other men of the city, except the repulsive Senator Altilis, are away at war. If she can't find a suitable match, her father has decreed she must marry the last gladiator standing in the upcoming games! That's the last thing this intelligent but headstrong feminist leader wants! And Senator Altilis is deviously plotting to get her out of the empire's affairs by moving the date of the gladiator games up, thus burdening the princess with having to plan her dreaded wedding. This is where Gladis comes in! The princess schemes to train Gladis to compete in the games so she can avoid marrying Brudis, the brainless brute favored to win. The only hitch? Gladis has to win! That's easier said than done, as the princess realizes once the training begins! This masterful, eclectic musical will knock your togas off with songs like the peasants' comical "I Could Be Royalty," the Broadway style "Rome Wasn't Built in a Day," the muses' rousing "Last Gladiator Standing" and Gladius's hysterical "I'm Gonna Die."
